Haunts
Haunts is a paranormal podcast dedicated to telling you the true stories behind the world’s most haunting legends. Join your spirited host, Courtney, for a deep dive into the fascinating field of paranormal research, while she sheds light onto the true events behind the lore! Each episode of Haunts is dedicated to dissecting the most debated theories, events, and legends of the paranormal. As a seasoned paranormal researcher, Courtney investigates each haunt with a fine tooth comb, bringing only the hard hitting facts the table. She dives into various theories of parapsychology and discusses the science behind the so-called unexplained. But that’s not all! While Courtney is a firm believer in the paranormal, she’s also a natural (yet hopeful) skeptic with a curious mind. This dichotomy paves the way for an objective approach to each haunt she covers—allowing the listener to make the final call: is it a hoax or could it truly be a haunt? Small-town America has long been the backbone of the nation, but what happens when these once-thriving communities fade into history? In this episode, we explore the ghost towns that now sit in the shadows of the Colorado Rockies—towns that once played a crucial role in shaping the country but now serve as eerie remnants of the past.
Join Courtney as she takes you to South Park City, a living history museum made up of 35 authentic buildings and over 60,000 artifacts that preserve the legacy of Colorado’s gold rush era. But history isn’t the only thing lingering in these old mining towns—ghostly apparitions, phantom footsteps, and chilling encounters have made South Park a true haunt in every sense of the word.
From the spectral presence in the Hand Hotel’s Room #5 to the restless spirit of brewery owner Leonhard Summer, and the mysterious phantom stagecoach of Kenosha Pass, this episode uncovers the haunted history of Fairplay, Colorado. Are these towns simply relics of the past, or do their spirits still walk among us?

They say Romania’s Hoia-Baciu Forest is the most haunted place on Earth—a bold claim, but one that has captivated paranormal investigators for decades. Known as the “Bermuda Triangle of Transylvania,” this 700-acre woodland is infamous for its chilling disappearances, ghostly apparitions, and even UFO sightings. Visitors often report sudden waves of nausea, vertigo, and the eerie sensation of being watched by phantom eyes glowing from the twisted trees.
But is Hoia-Baciu truly the most haunted location in the world? Or is it simply a legend, bolstered by eerie folklore and the enigmatic reputation of Transylvania? With haunting photos, alleged extraterrestrial encounters, and unsettling electromagnetic anomalies, the forest certainly makes a compelling case. Yet, the debate rages on, as skeptics dismiss the evidence as mere coincidence or trickery.
In this episode of Haunts, Courtney ventures into the heart of the Hoia-Baciu mystery—sorting through the chilling accounts, scrutinizing the so-called proof, and asking the question: does this forest deserve its sinister reputation, or is it just another ghost story lost in the woods?

What would the devil do to steal a soul? Would he craft a legend, make it go viral, or disguise it as harmless internet lore? Would he offer riches, tempt with glory, or deceive with a simple game?
In this chilling episode of Haunts, host Courtney unravels the unsettling story of Brian Russell, a college student drawn into the mysterious NoEnd House—a traveling haunted attraction promising a $500 prize to anyone who dares to complete all nine rooms. But when Brian steps inside, he quickly realizes that this is no ordinary haunted house. As the rooms twist reality and defy logic, his fear turns to terror, and escape seems impossible.
Is the NoEnd House just an urban legend, or is something far more sinister at play? And more importantly—would you risk your soul for the prize?
Tune in for a tale of deception, horror, and a game where the stakes are higher than they seem.

As a kid, I was always drawn to the eerie and unexplained—choosing ghost stories over fairy tales, and hauntings over happily-ever-afters. But no ghost story captivated me quite like that of Heidi Wyrick. Unlike me, Heidi didn’t just watch spirits on a screen—she saw them in real life. Her story of ghostly friendships, unsettling visions, and a chilling connection to the past unfolded in my own backyard, in a small Georgia town not far from where I grew up.
Now, years later, I’m revisiting the haunting that first sparked my obsession. A little girl, an invisible friend, and a name that had been waiting in the town’s history all along.

The evidence I’m about to present isn’t likely to capsize or spring a leak under the pressure of scrutiny. Still, the same could not be said for Chester Gillette in the case of murder against Grace Brown.

When researching the paranormal, many stories crumble under scrutiny—lacking names, dates, or even a concrete location. But every so often, a legend emerges that feels undeniably real. One with historical records, court documents, and eyewitness testimonies to back it up.
This episode takes us to the eerie waters of Big Moose Lake in the Adirondacks, where love, betrayal, and murder left an imprint so strong that some say it lingers to this day. In 1906, Grace Brown and Chester Gillette embarked on what should have been a romantic getaway. Instead, it ended in tragedy—with Grace’s lifeless body found floating in the lake and Chester spinning a tale that no one believed.
Convicted of first-degree murder, Chester met his fate in the electric chair. But did true justice prevail? Or does something—perhaps someone—still haunt the lake’s misty shores, seeking retribution?

When it comes to paranormal legends, the title of “America’s Most Haunted House” is one that has been claimed time and time again. But what makes a haunting stand out from the rest? In this episode, we’re diving into the chilling case of the Lindley Street poltergeist—a haunting so intense that even emergency personnel were left baffled.
What started as a quiet evening in Bridgeport, Connecticut, quickly spiraled into a nightmare for the Goodin family. Flying knives, furniture moving on its own, and eerie voices from their pet cat were only the beginning. With the involvement of Ed and Lorraine Warren, a media frenzy, and thousands of onlookers gathering to witness the events firsthand, this case became one of the most well-documented hauntings in history.
Was the activity truly supernatural, or was there another explanation lurking beneath the surface? And why do some hauntings captivate the public more than others? Join us as we explore the terrifying—and controversial—story of Lindley Street.
